The Sweetheart 5k/10k

It was a chilly morning for the start of the Sweetheart 5K/10K. Love was in the air, even with a challenge for couples to compete for awards. The Back of the Pack could not be with us today, but the Hustle Club showed up and burnt up the course!

The course starts and finishes right behind Coaches on 135th Street. The 5K goes out and you complete a huge square before returning. The 10K features the same square with an additional out and back spur returning to the finish!

It was so great seeing our friends and families out there having a fun time running! The Kansas City running community is just unbelievable! Everyone is so supportive and KC Running Company does an amazing time organizing these races.

Next up for Back of the Pack and Hustle Club is the new John Brown Half Marathon!
